Optional field trips
Field trip 1: 22 September 2024
We discussed low-temperature serpentinization and related processes during a visit of the hyperalkaline springs in the Ronda peridotite massif.
Field trip 2: 26 – 27 September 2024
We visited the Almirez massif (Sierra Nevada, Spain), the world’s unique exposure of the high-pressure serpentine dehydration front to prograde harzburgite. The perfect place to learn and discuss about the role of serpentinites in subduction zones.

Registration Fees
Registration for the meeting is 325 €, which includes conference material, icebreaker, lunch and coffee breaks. Field trips are not included. The characteristics of the venue limit the number of participants to 75.
EAG sponsorship: free conference registration for 3 students (undergraduate, PhD).
Cancellation policy: full refund until 01 June. After that date unfortunately no refund (registration fees, field trip costs) is possible.
